Bonnie Chow
Child Psychology Specialist
Bonnie Chow joined Edukey in March 2007 as Child Psychology Specialist and is active in the areas of child development research, program design, and workshop facilitation.
Bonnie has been conducting research on various aspects of child and adolescent development for over 6 years. Bonnie focuses her research primarily on factors and effective methods in enhancing language and literacy growth, and is the author of 15 peer-reviewed journal articles and international conference papers. She is well experienced in developing and evaluating language and literacy activities, conducting workshops for parents, and administering testing for children.
The Chinese Dialogic Reading method, which empirical evidence has indicated its effectiveness, was developed by Bonnie and Dr. McBride-Chang. Apart from her research role, Bonnie teaches developmental psychology lectures at the Chinese University of Hong Kong. Also, Bonnie taught various tutorials in Psychology at the University of Hong Kong and the Chinese University of Hong Kong.
Bonnie received her Bachelor and Master degrees in Psychology at the Chinese University of Hong Kong. She has been accepted by the University of Oxford to pursue a doctorate degree in Experimental Psychology.
